Art enthusiasts and animation fans numbering over 12,000 will invade the generous four block street fair on the weekend of April 19th & 20th, when artists of every venue gather to show a variety of creative works from sculptures to sidewalk chalk art that always serve to amaze observers. Being that Burbank, CA, is the “Animation Capital of the World”, it’s fitting the Creative Talent Network, CTN, has dedicated an entire block of the Art Festival to digital and visual EFX artists from the most popular animation films, video games and TV shows of all time.

On behalf of the West Coast Artists organization, you’re invited to bring your portfolios or just come by to visit over 130 digital animation and visual artists, street painters, photographers, craft artisans and sculptors. This is where they demonstrate and display their creative works in ceramic, wood, stone, metal, glass, iron, stained glass, fiber art, pottery, jewelry and precious stones. Interact with professional artists demonstrating their talents, evaluating and critiquing portfolios, autographing books and prints, along with art students from associated schools and studios. There will be thousands of one of a kind, original paintings, and Southern Cal’s most talented chalk artists, creating animation-inspired masterpieces on asphalt and concrete.

Outdoor canopies and booths will line four blocks of San Fernando Road, between Magnolia Blvd. and Angeleno Avenue, and on the AMC walkway where music and art will delight visitors during this free, open to the public event. There are about 200 shops and 80 restaurants, plus this area of Burbank has over 9,000 free parking spaces.

There is so much to see and do in this vibrant part of Los Angeles County. There are media centers and studios like Paramount Pictures, Dreamworks Animation Studios, ABC and NBC, Warner Bros., Universal Studios, Pantages Theater, Capitol Records and the Hollywood Bowl. “Sunset Magazine” voted this district one of Southern California’s most appealing urban centers.

Right in the heart of this entertainment capital of the world, you’ll find our luxurious, inviting and extraordinary hotel accommodation, the Hotel Amarano on North Pass Avenue. We’re just around the corner from Warner Bros. Studios, and it’s the best place to stay near the Burbank Arts Festival!

The Burbank Arts Festival will be opened from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday April 19 and 20. We encourage you to join in and enjoy a memorable weekend.
