The OktoBURfest beer festival in downtown Burbank will be sure to rival the annual Bavarian traditional festival held in Germany. With more than 45 breweries and three biergartens, there will be no reason to fly to Europe for an authentic Oktoberfest experience.

Out of the many great things to do around the hotel, one of the most interesting is the yearly Burbank International Film Festival, which takes place from September 9th through September 13th. The atmosphere of the festival is electric. You’ve got industry people trying to make deals and wannabe filmmakers and performers trying to impress. You’ve got established stars and young starlets. And of course, there are so many beautiful people moving about and the throngs of photographers snapping away.

Philharmonic, or a patriotic 4th with Smokey Robinson, fans of the open air Hollywood Bowl are in for another memorable year.

There are a lot of different spots in Southern California that will set up the projector and let the crowd bring their blankets, beach chairs and (often extremely gourmet) picnics. Cinespia is best known for showing their films in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, so you can pay homage to past greats while watching your favorite stars onscreen.

If you’re staying with us this weekend, you’re in for a treat! On Saturday, our city’s “most epic” beer fest is back in town, and it’s not just for beer lovers. The Hops & Hopes Craft Beer Fest is an annual event that raises funds for Beer Autism Hope, a charity that supports the autism community in countless ways.
Everyone knows Los Angeles is the entertainment capital of the world. We have Disneyworld and Universal Studios, the tours at world-famous television and film production studios including NBC and Warner Brothers. So it usually comes as a surprise to many that LA is also one of the best museum destinations in the country.
