The Amarano Beat

Whole Foods in Burbank, CA

This time next year, roughly speaking, Hotel Amarano guests will have a new, super-convenient source for nearby nibbles of top quality.

An ambitious new mixed-use complex is being built a few blocks southeast of our hotel: Talaria at Burbank. It’ll host 241 apartments (one-, two-, and three-bedroom units) meant to expand housing opportunities for those working in Burbank, but the main appeal for those staying with us is the Whole Foods Market that’ll occupy the ground level.

An Organic Grocery Within Shouting Distance of the Hotel Amarano

Talaria at Burbank will sit off the north side of the Ventura Freeway in the nook between West Alameda and West Olive avenues: a short and sweet stroll from Hotel Amarano. In other words, you’ll be but minutes away from all manner of organic goodness. Besides the fresh produce, hormone- and antibiotic-free meat, sustainable seafood, and other groceries, of course, Whole Foods is well known for its delectably varied prepared food on hand.

Sitdown Dining, Too

Talaria at Burbank’s Whole Foods Market will host a full-service restaurant and bar with both indoor and outdoor dining perches, so it’ll be a great new option for Hotel Amarano guests whose appetites are calling.

Naturally, we’d be remiss not to give a very hearty shout-out to our very own Hotel Amarano restaurant, Privato, which gives you onsite fine dining of the highest caliber. We think you’ll find some of the richest flavors and one of the most atmospheric epicurean experiences in the vicinity right here on our grounds. But we’re happy our guests will be able to mix things up with some Whole Foods Market cuisine as well!

Picnic Makings

Whole Foods Market at Talaria at Burbank won’t just be a place to go for in-store lunches and dinners, either. Whether a prepared to-go meal or a passel of ingredients harvested from the bakery, deli, and cheese department, you’ve got readymade picnic fodder at your fingertips. It’ll be a handy-dandy outlet for picking up provisions en route to Griffith Park or some other local greenspace. And hey: Nothing’s stopping you from hauling your picnic right back to Hotel Amarano!

Coming Next Year: Hotel Amarano’s Own Neighborhood Whole Foods Market

Talaria at Burbank is expected to open in the spring of 2018. It’s Whole Foods Market will serve as just one more nearby attraction in our attraction-packed backyard here at Hotel Amarano!
